Our 'CERN History':

PH-DT (since 2008)

In January 2009 Alan Honma joint the PH-DT group and took over the responsibility for the "Service1: Bond Lab" from Michael Moll.

In June 2008 the PH groups PH-DT1 (GL: Ferdinand Hahn) and PH-DT2 (GL: Christian Joram) are joined to become a single group PH-DT (Detector Technologies, GL: C.Joram). The PH-DT2-SD section is not existing any longer. All technicians are attributed to PH-DT-DI (Detector Infrastructure; SL: F.Hahn) while M.Moll is attributed to PH-DT-TP (Technology and Physics; SL: C.Joram). The former PH-DT2-SD activities are now pursued in form of Projects and Services in the new PH-DT group involving personnel out of the PH-DT-DI/TP sections:

PH-DT2-SSD (2005-2008)

In January 2005 a further restructuring of the support groups took place leading to the formation of PH-DT2-SD (SL: Michael Moll). The thin-film activities and the Photo-detector development and fabrication were placed into the newly formed PH-DT2-ST section while all other activities remained in DT2-SD. The RADMON project was formed and attached to our section.

PH-TA1-SSD (2001-2004)

The section PH-TA1-SSD was created in January 2001 (SL: Christian Joram) based on people from various EP groups (MIC,  TA1, TA2 and EC). The main activities comprised: Divisional Silicon Facility, Bondlab, Thin-film activities, Photo-detector development and production, Irradiation Facilities, Development of radiation hard silicon detectors (RD50).
